Yogic Arts

Yogic Arts, created by Master Duncan Wong, is a synthesis system that comprises all organic movement with an emphasis on Buddhist Gung-Fu [healing martial arts], Ashtanga-based yoga, bodywork and dance, with a therapeutic approach within a sacred space.

Yogic Arts has finally come to Canada!

Yogic Arts is dynamic, fun and challenging. We flow through yoga asanas (postures), alternately holding or pulsing (short, rhythmic bounce). The warrior salutation includes hip opening postures & twists, and martial arts stances, punching & kicking drills.

The shoulder opening and wrist therapy segments can reverse what I call "computer neck" & "mouse arm", those pains we suffer from slouching on the sofa in front of the laptop, the back of the next becomes shortened, the shoulders are rolled forward, and the wrists ache. Yogic Arts will deconstruct and rebuild your posture. It will tone, strengthen and lengthen every muscle fiber.

The best part of Yogic Arts is when the teacher comes around and assists the students, using Thai massage techniques to help deepen & relax the postures.
"Still pretty impressed with how great my back felt
all week! Same time, same place tomorrow?"
- Mike K., Montreal
